5 out of 5 stars Thank you to Netgalley and RB Media for allowing me to read this in exchange for an honest review. Wow. I just have to say that there were times while I was listening to this that I just kind sat there soaking this all in.  The fact that this novel was inspired by the real unsolved disappearance of a student at Mount Holyoke in 1897. This was incredibly asthmeperic. You could picture the school, the grounds and the homes. Most of the main characters were not exactly likable but I think it really serviced this story well. Rachel Botchan was a very good narrator and she held my attention.

The Scottish Ladies Detective Agency by Lydia Travers

4 out of 5 stars Thank you to Netgalley and Bookouture for allowing me to read this in exchange for a review. I enjoyed this fun and rather funny Victorian mystery. I enjoy a good historical mystery and if it is set in the UK I am predisposed to love it already! Maud and Daisy were a really fun team. One of the things that I really enjoyed about this book is that the ladies were tackling more than one case which is not something you normally see in PI novels very often. Helen McAlpine was a great narrator. Their voices for all of the different characters were very distinct. I totally recommend this.

Wings Once Cursed and Bound by Piper J. Drake

4 1/2 out of 5 stars Thank you to Netgalley and Dreamscape media for allowing me to listen to a copy of this in exchange for an honest review. As someone who must have watched the classic film "The Red Shoes" this story was right up my alley! I loved the retelling and I also really enjoyed all of the mythical characters that populated this world.  Bennet and Peeraphan were very interesting lead characters and I was extremely interested in all of the supporting characters. The world building is amazing. Cindy Kay was a very good narrator whom I enjoyed listening to. They reminded me of one of my favorite narrators Cassandra Campbell.

~Death by Chocolate Marshmallow Pie By Sarah Graves

5 out of 5 stars Thank you to Dreamscape Media and Netgalley for allowing me to read this in exchange for an honest review. I have found a new favorite cozy mystery series! This is rather late in the series to discover it but I will be buying all of the books that came out before this. The narrator Susan Boyce was great! I loved Jake and her family and friends. I kind of really like all of Jake's quirks and her past made her more interesting. There is humour in this but it was one of the few cozies that I have read where there felt like some very real stakes here for the characters. I just loved everything about this book!

~Mother of the Bride Murder by Leslie Meier

3.5 out of 5 stars Thank you to Netgalley and Dreamscape Media for allowing me to read this in exchange for an honest review. I first started reading Lucy Stone mysteries in the late 90's and was always a fan. I will admit that for a bit things were feeling a bit stale but I decided to pick them up again and I am glad I did. I enjoy the fact that Leslie Meier actually allows her characters to age. I also will admit to liking Bill more now that he has loosened up much more. I enjoyed seeing him actually give Lucy some help in her investigation. It was nice to also see Toby help her. I will say that I am a little curious as to where this storyline with Toby is going. The hints about his life in Alaska and the changes he is making have me wondering what will happen in future novels.  Is a trip to Alaska in the future for Lucy and Bill? Anyway, Coleen Marlo did a great job narrating, she was a very good Lucy. I liked the setting of this mystery and the mystery itself was good. I think ...

~ Maid of Dishonor by Gracie Ruth Mitchell

4.75 out of 5 stars Thank you to Netgalley and Dreamscape Media for allowing me to listen to this in exchange for an honest review. "Samantha Quinn: Baseball lover. Plant mama. Eternal friend zone dweller. I know exactly three things: 1) My heart will forever belong to my best friend, Carter. 2) Carter's heart will never belong to me. 3) I will therefore die alone." With those words I knew this was going to be for me. For one, we have friends to lovers, for two we have an incredibly sweet main character and then we have Carter who may be the sweetest, mushiest boy ever! Do I need to say more? If so then I will say that Gracie Ruth Mitchell wrote a sweet romance and the  Eva Wilhelm and Brandon Utah were super adorable narrators.
